Commitment to Privacy
Affiliates of CCS include CSSi, CSSi LifeSciences, and Nexus Informatics who also adhere to the Privacy Shield Principles and the types of data they collect.
The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over our compliance in regard to all Privacy Shield Principles.
It is important to note, under certain limited conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted. CCS may be required to disclose personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

CCS shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Information Collected and How We Use It
Depending on the settings of the website you are using, CCS may collect data such as name, mailing address, email address, phone number, how someone found the website, biometric data and other relevant information for the purpose of preliminary screening for clinical trials, to measure our efforts to increase awareness of a trial and for reasons relevant to the needs of a clinical trial. We do not gather any of this information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us and give us your consent for its processing.
CCS will take appropriate steps to protect data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We safeguard data collected by putting procedures in place to safeguard and secure it. CCS cannot guarantee the security of information on or transmitted via the internet.
Tracking Technologies / Cookies
In accordance with most websites, CCS gathers information automatically which is stored. Depending on the configuration of the website, this information may include IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

Potential Liability in Cases of Onward Transfer to Third Parties
CCS encourages individuals to be mindful about the processing of their personal data in regard to Third Parties. CCS will not transfer your data to Third Parties without your consent. Any personnel that CCS determines is in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment, where applicable. CCS will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of personal information in accordance with the principles in this policy.
